DUNCAN J. BELCHER, MD
Dr. Belcher is the Director of the Connecticut Center for Advanced Vein Therapy and an Interventional Radiologist with Diagnostic Radiology Associates and Waterbury Hospital. He completed his undergraduate studies at Fairfield University and received his MD degree from New York Medical College, Valhalla, New York. Dr. Belcher completed his Residency in Radiology at Yale New Haven Hospital as well as a Fellowship in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at Yale New Haven Hospital. He holds a Special Certification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and is the Director of Interventional Radiology at Waterbury Hospital.
ERIC HYSON, MD
Dr. Hyson is an Interventional Radiologist with Diagnostic Radiology Associates and Waterbury Hospital. He completed his undergraduate studies at Princeton University and received his MD from University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. Dr. Hyson completed his Radiology Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital; he has Special Certification in Vascular and Interventional Radiology and a Teaching Appointment at Yale Medical School. Dr. Hyson is the Director of Mammography at Waterbury Hospital where he has been on staff for over thirty years.

DEBBIE ATKINSON
Debby Atkinson is the patient coordinator at CCAVT. She is available to help you through the entire process from ordering compression stockings to making sure you have pre-certification for your procedure. She is extremely knowledgeable in all facets of the vein practice.

JUSTIN CHAMPAGNE MHS, PA-C
Graduate of Quinnipiac University with a Masters of Health Science and is Board certified as a Physician Assistant. He has many years of experience in vascular access related procedures. He is currently the Vice President of The Connecticut Association of Physician Assistants.
ROSS UTTER MHS, PA-C
Graduate of Quinnipiac University with a Masters of Health Science and is Board certified as a Physician Assistant. He has many years of experience in vascular access related procedures. CCAVT administrator.
Ultrasound Technologists
CCAVT is fortunate to have a full staff of experienced sonographers. At your first visit you will have a doppler ultrasound of your veins to evaluate your legs. They will assist you during your procedure.
